Welda is a seasoned Communications and Marketing Strategist with 17 years of experience in the field. She is a graduate of Stellenbosch University with a keen interest in the Development Agenda, youth empowerment, and education. Following a decade of work at the UN in Namibia, Welda has led numerous advocacy and public information campaigns and made invaluable contributions in programmatic work at the grassroots level. She is currently working in the Tourism Industry and serves on the Board at Windhoek International School as well as the Board of the Athletic Club Football Academy in Windhoek. As a soccer mom of two boys, Welda is passionate about creating opportunities for young people in Namibia. She also serves as a Class representative at WIS, where her children attend school. Welda and her husband enjoy traveling, cycling and the outdoors. Welda is an avid reader, she is passionate about Namibia and making positive contributions in her community.
