Michèle and her son, Zac, joined the WIS family in March 2022 and haven’t looked back since! Michèle holds a BA, LL.B from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, and has practised as a legal practitioner in Namibia since 2001, specialising in conveyancing and notarial practice, and focussing on that and commercial law. However, her curiosity and passion for life led her to leave full-time law in 2014, so she now divides her time between running a “one-woman” firm, assisting a few select clients with whom she has worked for approximately 20 years, teaching movement exercise classes, making bespoke jewellery as a hobby, studying a variety of healing modalities and living a full life. Her passions are scuba diving (which she gets to do far too seldom for her own liking), music, the outdoors and being in nature, walking, family, and friends. She lives her life by the motto that “Freedom, after all, is simply being able to live with the consequences of your choices” and spends her time doing her best to be a decent human being, making a change in the world.
