Olof Diekmann graduated with the IB Diploma in May 2018.
After finishing school at WIS I started studying at Coventry University in the UK. After one year, however, I decided to switch universities to the University of Portsmouth as the city life and university seemed more appealing to me. After transferring I managed to get a first-class degree in BA Accounting with Finance (Hons) in 2021.
Due to Covid and my interest in Risk Management, I decided to further advance my knowledge by enrolling in a master’s degree. Currently, I am studying Risk, Crisis and Resilience Management (MSc) at the University of Portsmouth and am expected to finish in October 2022.
WIS helped prepare me for university life, as I was better equipped to write my assignments. The workload during IB taught me to manage my time better to ensure that I get everything done in time. After finishing my master’s, I hope to start working as a risk manager.
