Windhoek International School is at an exciting stage in its development and the following posts offer outstanding opportunities for energetic, ambitious and well qualified candidates to join us.
Committed professionals required for August 2008:
· Essential knowledge of current children's literature.
· Essential ability to read stories to children and locate reference materials to assist with inquiry based learning.
· Desirable knowledge of the Dewey Decimal Classification scheme.
Candidates must be:
· proficient in English,
· Able to use the computer to locate information
· Have a commitment to international education.
· Have a firm commitment to the life of the school and to its future development.
Committed professional required as soon as possible:
· Kindergarten teaching experience is vital
· Candidates should have a clear understanding of learning programmes that enhance the educational development of young children.

Applicants should hold Namibian citizenship or Permanent Residence. Non-Namibian candidates will only be appointed in the absence of suitably qualified Namibians and with the approval of the Ministries of Education and Home Affairs.
